DC power supplies convert the AC electrical supply in your home, RV or business into a steady, regulated 12 Volts DC (actually closer to 13.8 Volts DC) to operate your two-way radios in a base station or portable environment. They can be stand-alone power supplies or power supplies with an integral hood in order to turn your mobile radio into a single-unit stand-alone base station.
