Recently, Radios Across America had the privilege of exhibiting at the Arizona GMRS Connection Fest 2022 hosted by the Arizona GMRS Repeater Club held at Radiant Church in Sun City.
The event was open to all AGRC members and to anyone interested in a two-way radio. On the schedule were presentations by the AZGMRS Repeater Club; help with programming radios; equipment checks by technicians and antenna checks; repeater locations and frequencies; and information on training for emergency communication. Additionally, there was a show and tell demonstration by members of the clubs to show off their particular radio installations in their vehicles.
AGRC provided coffee and doughnuts in the morning and a delicious meal at lunch.
To cap off the day there were drawings and several prizes. Radios Across America gave away two radios in the drawing as well as one prize from our featured vendor Maxon America. It was a full day for all who attended.
Although it was a small profit day for Radios Across America; we had many visitors come to our booth asking questions regarding equipment and looking for general information about GMRS. Questions which Tim was more than happy to answer.
